Consultation and Supervision services available for pre-licensed California therapists.
Clinical Support That’s Clear, Ethical, and Actually Useful
Supervision for pre-licensed therapists in California who want real growth — not just checkbox hours.
Supervision for Pre-Licensed Therapists
Hi, I’m Yael Eiserike, LCSW, and I offer clinical supervision for pre-licensed therapists working toward licensure in California. With a background as both a lawyer and a therapist, I understand the importance of clear guidance, consistency, and practical tools.
I work with motivated pre-licensed therapists who want more than just a box checked on the way to their hours. Supervision with me is smart, grounded, and practical. My job as your supervisor is to pay attention, challenge you, and help you grow so you feel confident in doing your job on your own.
What We Focus On
Case consultation that doesn’t just review what happened, but helps you see your next steps more clearly
Boundaries and ethics, especially when the room gets complicated
Burnout prevention and building awareness of self
Support in navigating imposter syndrome and growing your own clinical voice
What You Can Expect
A collaborative relationship built on consistency and trust
Clear expectations, thoughtful attention, and direct feedback
A space to feel supported and grow confidently into the therapist you’re becoming
Interested in working with me? I would love to set up a time to talk and see if it’s a good fit.
CBT-Informed Consultation for Therapists
In addition to supervision for pre-licensed clinicians, I also offer consultation for therapists who want to strengthen the effectiveness of their work through a CBT-informed lens. I received my training and certification through the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, and my approach is grounded in years of focused work on how thoughts, behaviors, and emotions interact to create and maintain change.
I believe meaningful progress often comes from small, intentional shifts. Consultation is a space to slow down your thinking, sharpen your clinical reasoning, and make purposeful adjustments that lead to clearer direction and better outcomes for the clients you serve.
I work with clinicians who want to deepen their case conceptualization skills, feel more assured using structured and evidence-informed methods, and develop confidence in their clinical decision-making. My goal is to help you feel organized in your approach, steady in your choices, and more confident guiding clients toward real, observable progress.
Areas We’ll Explore
Developing clear, thoughtful case formulations that highlight patterns and guide intervention
Understanding how belief systems and behavioral cycles keep clients stuck, and where to intervene first
Building treatment plans that are structured but flexible enough to adapt as therapy unfolds
Increasing confidence with exposures, behavioral strategies, and cognitive change techniques
Using tools like homework, monitoring, and measurement in ways that feel intentional and clinically useful
What Working Together Is Like
A steady, collaborative space that values curiosity and clarity
Clear guidance paired with room to develop your own clinical voice
Direct, supportive feedback designed to support growth
Practical strategies you can apply with clients right away, even in complex cases
If you are curious about whether this approach is a good fit, I would be glad to connect and talk more.
